Tosti International Singing Academy

The Tosti International Singing Academy was set up to help and promote emerging into the industry singers and excellent conservatoire singers, where they will meet remarkable song and opera practitioners, with important positions throughout the music industry internationally. The academy will feature open masterclasses and concerts at The Grand.
Fabia Goff live printing

Fabia Goff will be collaborating with Grand Art CIC to present a day of printmaking. Visitors will be among the first to see Folkestone to Dover, Fabia’s largest and most ambitious linocut to date. This new A1 multi-block linoprint will go on to be exhibited at House of ICON during London Design Week (15–17 September).

Opera Fundraiser

Join us for an evening of opera in support of Grand Arts CIC.

Internationally celebrated operatic bass, and Artistic Director of the Tosti International Singing Academy at The Grand, Matthew Rose, curates an extraordinary programme of opera arias and ensembles sung by world class singers who will perform throughout the evening, and a four course menu prepared by Harry Johnson, Executive Chef of Keppels.Â
Tickets are £150 (£1,500 for a table of 10)

A one-day gathering bringing together people living with Parkinson's, Parkinson's nurses, speech and language therapists, singing and health practitioners and researchers — to explore the challenges and importance of vocal health, and how group singing can contribute to maintaining and strengthening the voice.

We'll Take it From Here, Dear.
Moving Memory Dance Theatre presented a special sharing of new work in progress, followed by a short animated film and an open Q&A, chaired by Bobby Baker.

At the heart of the event was We’ll Take It From Here, Dear – a striking new 20-minute theatre piece created by our core company in collaboration with composer and musician Nina Clark as part of Wavelengths Festival.

A celebration of James Joyce's novel, Ulysses, which is entirely set on a single day, 16 June 1904. Inspired by Leopold Bloom, the novel's main character, 16 June has become known as Bloomsday and the tradition to mark the day with readings from the book has taken hold in towns and cities across the world.Â
